We often visit England on our holiday to meet with the families, and normally we spent three weeks or more, driving around, visit some interesting places, and many other things. I usually went to see some Castles, old church, historical places, etc
Since I was in university I enjoyed to read about Arthurian Legends, so when the first time I went to England for Christmas, my families took me to see some places related to the Legends. We went to Stonehenge which is a prehistoric monument located in the English county of Wiltshire, Also Glastonbury town a region rich with mystical associations. It has for centuries been one of the main Arthurian sites of the West Country, its truly an amazing experience for me.

- Stonehenge
I did not took many pictures because I was not really in to photography and I only have a small and simple pocket camera with me, make me smile to remember how hard to use the camera, very difficult to focus as well, as you can see the picture on the left I took few years back.
Below is a picture of Glastonbury Abbey was a rich and powerful monastery in Glastonbury, Somerset, England (Wikipedia) also I took the picture with the same pocket camera. Then I decided to hike up to Glastonbury Tor to see St. Michael’s Tower, very big storm and really cold that afternoon, I can’t even feel my fingers, but I keep hike.

England has so many amazing and interesting things to see, beautiful landscapes, seascapes, cityscape etc. I enjoyed the atmosphere, raining and cloudy remind me of my home town in Flores Island (Indonesia) always raining say almost everyday some how makes me feel home too.
London Eye
I took the picture on the left when I visited England on September 2008, it was raining and cold as well, I remember had a bad toothache the time I was there, its really painful. I went with Mark and Clarissa on the tour; while I took a picture around the town they were waiting for me at the coffee shop or joining me around
I finally had a good camera, it was canon EOS 400D on 2008, at that time I have no idea about shooting with manual mode, I usually on Av mode, I took the manual book with me everywhere, but did not have much time to read about it

- Avebury stone circles
Another spectacular place I have visited during the autumn holiday was Avebury stone circles and it’s a largest known stone ring in the world.
Avebury is owned and run by the National trust a charitable organization that keeps it open to the public.
on the day we visited Avebury the whether was nice and sunny, we had a wonderful picnic there.
on April-May 2010 we went back to England, and we made to Cumbria, it was a long drive but we had so much fun on the way. we had a few stopped to take a pictures, mostly Landscapes.

- Grasmere,Cumbria
The Lake District, also commonly known as Lakeland, is a mountainous region in North West England, and its a very popular holiday destination.
Grasmere lake as you have seen on the left look amazing, it has beautiful reflection, there were many other lakes around but we could not visit them all.
There were many other places we went, while we were in England including visited Bluebells park at Badbury Woods, it was a gorgeous Blue carpet I have ever seen.

Everyone sees the world in a very different ways… I really enjoy to look at all the pictures from my flickr contacts, there are so many beautiful landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, portraits, macro shots, and its inspiring me. I’m glad that since then I have learned so many things to find my own style on photography. I read some books, magazines, joined photography groups, taking pictures of any objects and I finally find what I really want Travel and taking pictures, not just landscape or seascape,I tried to capture all the different subject such as street shot, markets, portraits etc. I can not stop that now
I’m addicted to it.
Hope you enjoy to read my stories, again please forgive me for the wrong spelling and grammar I will try to fix it later.
